Walker was in the holodeck. He was working with a couple of holographic Engineers. He was attempting to build shielding for a transphasic shielding for a warhead. He was mixing old technology and new. His goal was a missile with a drill head on it. The shielding on the inside was to protect an occupant from transphasic instability. A warhead that could go through a shield and drill into a ship. Then release the occupant inside the ship. He had been working on this for a couple of years. The simulations weren't coming out right. That is why he had the holographic engineers. There were coding issues that were beyond him.

Captain Vigo walked towards the holodeck room with the report in his hand. He approached the door and opened it. Walker was already in works and the program running as he moved towards the team working. He slowed his pace and walked behind a console to view it, reading what the most recent progress was. He laid the report down on the table and acknowledged Walker.
“This seems to be progressive. What spectrum tests have come up useful since adding the theological application?” He held his hands behind his back coming up to stand beside him.

Walker looked back, "We made this work once. All the engineers said it was a fluke. Transphasic shielding to get through a shield, another shield generator to deal with the radiation. The two either destabilized each other or blow each other up."

"Do you think your able to bypass the energy that the torpedo generates into a destructive subspace compression pulse once past the initial shielding?" He walked over towards the unit.
"How have you solved not exceeding the pulse in an asymmetric superposition of multiple phase states as it would interfere with the stabilization of the shell casing to hold a person?"

Walker looked at him, "In the original one, it was an old transport torpedo, inside of another torpedo. I wonder if the inner seal has to be fully enclosed."

"That would work as it would be able to hold internal and an external shield modulator." He motions to a few of the working team members. "Did you program them for audio response or just tactile data input?" He was just as curious as he was cautious about this whole idea. Trying to not loose officers and lives always trumped ideas that risked that safety. However Vigo felt that each of his senior officers had this clear sense of what was crossing the line and he felt more assured that no one would ever do so.

Walker looked at him, "The directionity control isn't in the torpedo itself, so the person inside doesn't guide it. The tactical station does. I wasn't in there for a fancy life support system. It was 14 seconds from ship to ship. I was cold as balls afterwards."

Vigo nodded and motioned to the holograms. "I was referring to them, to take audio input and work out the idea post doing the work. If they had the computers diagnostic interface tied in." He held his hands behind his back, resting.
"In regards of the journey I would imagine yes, there wouldn't be a need nor room for complex systems. The journey itself is roughly timed due to the possible unseen complications upon traveling to said other ship."

Walker spoke, "Make the inner tube pressure sealed. Radiation shielding and environmental controls mounted power supply for 3 minutes." He looked at the Captain. "Computer, disable audio and visual recording for this room. Captain, you know I am a Priest in my faith. If you need to talk, I have ears. They are nice and pointy too. You can pretend you are speaking to a Vulcan."

"I appreciate the gesture Mr Walker. However there is other things that being a captain comes with silent suffering and its not about my comfort for me. I have something underlying that I am going to go through soon and I'm planning how to make it tolerable." He offered a hand to his shoulder. "But your interest of concern is humbly thanked.

Walker looked at him, "Things to do with your wife on Vulcan and the arrangement is probably for procreation, because your interests lay elsewhere." He raised his hands. "I know that is overly personal and not my business. You seemed happier on the Station. Particularly, when you saw that guy. You know, it seemed like being Captain was less stressful."

"I dont exercise game in conversation, so to the point; yes. I find that though we married and have an peaceful relationship there is something more I can not get from her and I find, similar genders." He turned his head ever slightly as the tips of his ears grew a touch pinker but he kept his posture and tone of voice steady. "When you have responsibilities of lives in your duty tasks, finding yourself in a timed-stage of your life comes at an inconvenience."

Walker looked at him, "I am Irish. I was on a deep cover operation. My mother found me, blew my cover, and told me she wanted grandchildren. I understand stresses of responsibilities of cultural, familial, personal, and professional. It is a hard balance." He laughed. "I was inside of a Romulan Woman trying to get access to communication subspace access codes when she blew my cover. Sometimes finding that balance get you beaten and tortured."

"Indeed, that would cause some complications." Caelan frowned a bit. "Perhaps there are other options and things that could suffice."

Walker grinned, "I was trying to tell you that I have some understanding. I even come from a faith that understands marital contracts. I am here for you." He didn't say as a friend or force clarify he was straight. The Captain would know that he was into women.
